President Donald Trump says a deal to end the war between Russia and Ukraine is “getting a lot closer” after his meeting at Mar-a-Lago with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and phone call with Russia’s Vladimir Putin. Meanwhile, Trump is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the U.S. aims to push ahead with phase two of the Gaza ceasefire. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
